Great Room:
As you can see from the main floor plan, the house has an open concept. As you leave the foyer, there are numerous large windows creating a warm, bright and airy space perfect for both relaxing and entertaining.

The great room is finished in maple hardwood (31/4” planks) coated with a very hard and durable water based finish. There are some nicely detailed arches setting off the space and all the wall corners in the house are rounded.

The great room has a large direct vent natural gas fireplace equipped with both a thermostat control and a variable speed fan. The fireplace is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows. All the windows have custom fitted blinds, some of them in a café style, allowing you privacy while still letting light in.

All the halogen pot lights are on dimmer switches, allowing you to set the right amount of light for the moment.

The French doors open from the eating area onto the backyard deck.

There is a retractable double screen door installed on the outside.

There is also a retractable (power) awning (10’ x 12’) that extends over the back deck. The rear of the house has perfect Southern exposure.

Kitchen:
The custom kitchen is well equipped. The large granite island anchors the space while providing an under mount sink hooked up to a charcoal filtration system. Large 4 foot passageways surround the island, allowing convenient yet roomy access to the appliances. As in the great room, the kitchen is finished in maple hardwood (3 1/4” planks) finished with a hard and durable commercial water based product.

A large number of pot lights and under mount cabinet lighting provides excellent workspace everywhere. There are 6 extra large pot drawers, along with a spice drawer, racks for pans and a handy utensil drawer. There are three banks of drawers for all your dishtowels, papers, cookbooks and knick knacks. The upper cabinets reach all the way to the ceiling, providing plenty of storage for all your kitchen paraphernalia.

The home base of the intercom system is located in the kitchen.

Pantry:
Adjoining the kitchen is a very large pantry that can hold an additional refrigerator and an upright freezer. The 16 inch deep shelving can accommodate all your possible grocery storage needs.

Mudroom:
The large ceramic tiled mudroom provides direct access to the garage as well as the backyard. Two large clothes closets include numerous shelves with room for all your extra coats. Completing the room is a wonderful bench with storage for boots underneath, plenty of hooks for hanging your coats and shelves flanking both sides for miscellaneous mitts and hats.

Garage:
The side-entry three car garage is large enough to hold 3 full size cars. Each door has an automatic garage door opener. There is also a keypad on the outside of the garage that operates all the doors. There are plenty of shelves lining the back of the garage. The central vacuum canister is located in the garage to keep noise and dust at bay.
